This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage on the Outlift marketing website and explains the separate sign-in storage used by the app.

This website

The current marketing site serves its fonts, images and videos directly and does not embed third-party video players. It runs one analytics script, Datafast, in that provider’s cookieless mode: it stores nothing on your device and derives a visitor identifier that changes about every twenty-four hours, so it cannot follow you between sites or across days. Two optional services, described below, store cookies only if you allow them on the banner: affiliate attribution and Google Ads conversion measurement. The optional light/dark preview setting is read from the URL and is not stored in a cookie or local storage.

Ordinary browser caching may store downloaded files so that pages load faster. Server requests can also generate technical logs, including IP addresses. Logs are personal-data processing, even where no tracking cookie is present; see our privacy policy.

Advertising measurement

We advertise Outlift with Google Ads. If you allow cookies on the banner, the website and the app load Google’s tag (gtag.js), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It is used for one purpose: to measure which ads lead to sign-ups and purchases. For that it stores first-party cookies on getoutlift.com (_gcl_au, and _gcl_aw when you arrive from an ad click), so that finishing setup, starting checkout or completing a purchase in the app can be credited to the ad. What is reported is that the step happened and, for checkout and purchases, the price and currency; not your name, email address or training data.

The tag is loaded only after you allow it. Before that, and if you decline, your browser does not contact Google for this purpose. We use Google’s consent settings to switch off ad personalisation and Google Analytics storage. Google decides how long its cookies last; at the time of writing it is about 90 days (see Google’s list of advertising cookies). Google processes the data under its own terms; see Google’s privacy policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time: change your cookie choice. Choosing “No thanks” deletes these cookies from getoutlift.com.

Storage strictly necessary to provide a service you request may be exempt from cookie consent. Optional tracking requires an appropriate choice before it is used. Consent under the ePrivacy rules is required for storing or reading information on your device. The analytics on this site stores nothing on your device, so it needs no consent. Two things do: if you arrive through a partner's link, the affiliate tracker stores a cookie so that partner is credited, and Google Ads stores cookies that measure whether an ad led to a sign-up or a purchase. That is what the banner on your first visit asks about, as one question, and nothing is stored or loaded before you answer. Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage, and in a cookie on getoutlift.com so the app does not ask again. Clearing your browser's storage for this site asks the question again, and you can change your choice at any time.

If any further optional storage is introduced, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before it is enabled. Rejecting optional tracking must not stop you from accessing the ordinary site content. Danish regulator guidance on cookies and similar technologies.

External links

Opening the Outlift app, Stripe checkout or the Featurebase board takes you to a separate service or origin. Those services may use their own cookies and storage. A link here does not load their tracking code into this page. Read their notices before supplying information.

Managing browser storage

You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser’s site-data settings. Removing an app session cookie may sign you out. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in from working. Clearing browser storage does not cancel a paid subscription or delete your account.
